Effect of Feeding Different Levels of Dried Rumen Digesta on Body Weight Gain, Nutrient Utilization Efficiency, Digestffiility and Its Economics on Buffalo (Bubalus Bubalis) Calves

Abstract

The author was born on January 2"d , 1960 to Mr. Baryehukyi Efuraimu (R.I.P.) and Miss Regina Nkwatagye (R.I.P.) in the village of Makoole, Makoole Parish, Lwemiyaga Sub county, Mawogola County, Masaka District of Uganda. He started school in 1966 and completed his primary education at Lwemiyaga Church of Uganda Primary School in 1973 with a 1st grade. He attended Masaka Secondary School from 1974 to 1977. He attended Veterinary Training Institute, Entebbe- Uganda from 1978-1981 and attained a Distiction Diploma in Ranch Management (Uganda). He worked in various capacities in the Ministry of Veterinary Services and Animal Industry. He was admitted at Makerere University , Kampala -Uganda in 2012 for a Bachelor of Animal Production Technology and Management and passed with a 2"d class upper degree in 2005. He was admitted for a Masters of Science in Livestock Development Planning and Management in 2005 and completed in 20 l 0. He holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Public Administration and Management from Uganda Management Institute, Uganda and a Post Graduate Certificate in Aquaculture from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem. He was enrolled for the degree of Ph.D. in Animal Husbandry at Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut in the lst semester of 2013-14 under the IndiaAfrican fellowship. He completed his Ph.D. with major in Animal Husbandry and minor in Animal Nutrition in July, 2016.
