A field experiment was conducted during Kharif season of 20 I 5 at Crop

1 he result indicate that che1nical method of weed control significantly reduced the
weed population and dry weight effectively over weedy check. 1 he tallest plants, higher
number of branches planf1, dry matter accu1nulation, weed control efficiency, nutrient uptake
and grain yield ( 1020 kg ha-1
) was recorded with the POE application of imazethapyr +
i1nazcmox@ 80 g ha·' followed by POE application of imazethapyr + imazemox@ 70 g ha·'
(928 kg ha-l), which established its superiority over rest of the herbicides. Sin1iJarly, POE
application of irnazethapyr + iJnazeJnox @ 80 and 70 g ha-1 resulted into higher gross return
net return and B: C ratio. l''he total nitrogen, phosphorus and potassiun1 uptake by green gran1
crop were recorded higher under POE application of irnazcthapyr + itnaz~rnox @ 80 g ha'" ',
respectively.
