Abstract

l'S) chrophilic bacteria are microorganisms that thrive in cold environmcnts. They possess unique enzyme adapted to function at low temperature making them valuable rources for industrial application~ •\m) lase an enzyme that catalyze" the hydrolysis of starch is of particular interest due to its broad range of applications in various industries. This study aimed to produce and purif) umylasc from psychrophilic bacteria for potential biotcchnologic.sl use. To achieve this psychrophilic bacteria were isolated from cold environment and their am) lase production capabilit) was assessed. The selected bacterial strain with the highest amylase production was then cultured under optimized condition including tcmperature,ph. and nutrient 3\'ailability. The culture sup.:matant was collected und amylase was panially puri lied using different technique. K''Ychmphilic bacteria, DNS method, Hmdtord m~thod. Ammonium sullatc pt cci pitlll ion.
