direct examination, notation technique and sedimentation techniques. Overall birds
harbored parasites including Ascaridia colombae. Eimerra spp , Capillaria ca/ombae
and Raillietina. Most of the pigeons were more likely to harbor mixed infection . In
the present study, there is a relation between the occurrence of gastrointestinal
parasitic infections with the age of the pigeons which showed that high prevalence in
adults when compare to squabs.
