Oyster mushroom (Pleurotus spp.) also called as “Dhingri” now ranks second among the important cultivated mushrooms in the world. Total production in India during 2016 is 1,29,782 metric tonnes while oyster mushroom production is 21,272 metric tonnes in India. The great advantage is that capacity to convert nutritionally valueless substrates into high proteinous food. The present investigations were carried out on “Studies on management of fungal disease in oyster mushroom (Pleurotus florida)”. The results of present investigations indicated that among all the media maximum radial growth recorded in Barley extract (90.00mm) on 8th day. Maximum dry matter was recorded (6.40mg/50ml) in Barley extract medium. Minimum disease incidence was recorded (12.50 %) in Barley extract media. Effect of seed extract, the maximum radial growth (9.0) was observed in Trigonella foenu-graecum extract medium and minimum disease incidence was recorded (14.20 %). The maximum spawn growth (5.40 mm/day) was recorded in Maize and Sorghum grain substrates; minimum disease incidence was recorded (12.50) in Maize, Sorghum and Oat. The maximum (790.00 g/kg dry substrate) yield was recorded Wheat straw + Rice Flour and biological efficiency (79.00%) was recorded. Minimum disease incidence was recorded (10.95 %) in Wheat straw + Maize. The maximum yield (563.33g/kg dry substrate) on first spray of carbendazim@ 0.05 % and biological efficiency (56.30) was recorded and on 3 spray of carbendazim + mancozeb @ 0.05 % the minimum disease incidence (3.3%) was recorded. The maximum yield (595.00g/kg dry substrate) on two spray of carbendazim@ 0.05 % and biological efficiency (59.50) was recorded and on 2 spray of carbendazim + mancozeb @ 0.05 % the minimum disease incidence (4.39%) was recorded.
