dc.description.abstract | Milky mushroom is large sized robust sporophores, fleshy, delicious, nutritionally and medicinally rich. The present investigations has been done on different inorganic and herbal additives on mycelia growth, dry matter growth and spawn growth as well as yield attributing parameters of milky mushroom. Among the tested strains of C. indica fluffy, cottony compressed growth appearance were observed. Whereas, circular and even type of colony shape and margin and milky white sporophore colour were observed. The maximum pileus and stipe length was observed in strain CI-20-03. Regarding the spices plant leaf extract and powder maximum mycelial growth, mycelial growth rate, dry matter growth and dry matter growth rate was found in control in case of both strains (CI-20-03 and CI-20-07). Similarly in case of medicinal plant leaf extract and powder maximum mycelial growth, mycelial growth rate, dry matter growth and dry matter growth rate was found in control in both strains. Regarding different inorganic additives maximum mycelial growth, mycelial growth rate, dry matter growth and dry matter growth rate was found in MEA + 1.50 % MgSO4 followed by MEA + 1.25 % on 10th day observation in both strains. Similarly, regarding inorganic additives maximum spawn growth and spawn growth rate was observed in WG + 1.50 % MgSO4 15th day observation in both strains. Whereas, regarding spices plant leaf powder maximum spawn growth and spawn growth rate was found in control followed by WG + 2.5 % GiLP. Although, regarding medicinal plant leaf powder maximum spawn growth and spawn growth rate was found in control. Regarding inorganic additives maximum yield with highest BE % was observed in WS + 1.50 % MgSO4 followed by WS + 1.25 %. Whereas, regarding spices plant leaf powder maximum yield with highest BE % was found in control followed by WS + 2.5 % GiLP. Although, regarding medicinal plant leaf powder maximum yield with highest BE % was found in control followed by WS + 2.5 % TLP in both strains. | |
