The aim of our study was to analyzed 15 tomato genotype at morphological, physiological and biochemical level and genetic diversity analysis using RAPD primers along with screening at molecular level for abiotic and biotic resistance gene to identifying informative gene specific primer. Various morphological characters like germination percentage, plant height, fruit shape, fruit weight, number of truss per plant, number of flowers per plant. On the basis of growth characteristics out of 15 tomato germplasms, 5 described as determinate type, 2 semi determinate type and 8 indeterminate type. In reference to shape round fruit shape dominated over oval-round shaped and flat shaped fruit by 12 germplasm. Pusa Sadabahar produces high average weight fruits. The higher yield per plant was recorded EC 608438 respectively. In the present study RAPD primers were used to analyse the genetic diversity of tomato germplasm. The 10 RAPD primers generated a total number of 61 alleles, among these 47 alleles shows polymorphism while, 14 alleles were monomorphic, thus generated 77.18 % polymorphism. In present study the 15 tomato germplasm was screened at molecular level for identifying the resistance alleles for various abiotic and biotic stress resistance genes viz. draught, cold, heat, salts, fusarium wilt, nematode and tomato yellow mosaic virus. Through analysis, these 15 tomato genotypes have been characterized in documenting the presence of resistance alleles for various resistance genes.
