dc.description.abstract | The field experiment entitled “Effect of Integrated Nutrient Management on Growth and Yield of Vegetable Cluster Bean (Cyamopsis tetragonoloba L. Taub)” was carried out to evaluate the effect of basal application of nutrient management varieties on growth, yield, and quality traits of Cluster Bean at the Horticultural Research Center of the Department of Horticulture, Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Meerut (UP) 250110. All the treatment sown in randomized block design. The characters under study were namely Plant height (cm), Number of branches plant-1 , Number of clusters plant-1 , Number of leaves plant-1, Number of pods clusters-1,Number of pods plant-1,Pod length (cm), Pod width (cm), Weight of pod (g), Pod yield plant-1 (kg),Pod yield plot-1 (kg), Pod yield (q ha-1). Analysis of variance showed high significant variance for all character under the study and treatment detail T1-100 % RDF (NPK @ 50:60:60), T2-100 % RDF + FYM (1.5 t/ha), T3-100 % RDF % + Vermicompost (1 t/ha),T4 -75 % RDF + FYM (3 t/ha),T5 -75 % RDF + Vermicompost (1.5 t/ha),T6 -75 % RDF + FYM (3 t/ha) + Rhizobium (2 kg/ha) + PSB (2 kg/ha),T7 -75%RDF + Vermicompost (1.5 t/ha) + Rhizobium (2 kg/ha) + PSB (1 kg/ha), 50 % RDF + FYM (5 t/ha) + Rhizobium (3 kg/ha) + PSB (2 kg/ha),T9 -50 % RDF + Vermicompost (2 t/ha) + Rhizobium (2 kg/ha) + PSB (1 kg/ha) and T10 Control. The finding of experiment indicated the treatment combination T7 -75 % RDF + Vermicompost (1.5 t/ha) + Rhizobium (2 kg/ha) + PSB (1 kg/ha) has significant effect on growth and yield treatment of Cluster Bean for all character studies followed by T6 -75 % RDF + FYM (3 t/ha) + Rhizobium (2 kg/ha) + PSB (2 kg/ha) and T2 -100 % RDF + FYM (1.5 t/ha) these character were found significantly at par with other treatment for most of the character. While the T10 Control had least effect on growth and yield parameter of the crop. It may have conducted the appropriate combination of different organic agent may be helpful enhance the growth and yield parameter of Cluster Bean crop. | |
