dc.description.abstractThis study was conducted in Prakasam district of Andhra Pradesh during the year 2021-22 in four blocks which were selected purposively according to their CSR ratio. The data was collected from 80 respondents who were selected by simple random sampling and were collected through personal interview method. The study revealed that, majority of the respondents (52.50 %) belongs to middle age group, 40.00 per cent of them belonged to backward caste, 25.00 per cent of them have completed their secondary education, 40.00 per cent of the respondents’ parents completed till primary level, 27.50 per cent were undertaking agricultural activities, 57.50 per cent were having 2 children in their family, 40.00 per cent of respondents were having at least 1 girl child, 36.25 per cent of respondents were getting annual income of Rs. 50,000 to Rs. 1, 00,000, 62.50 per cent of respondents were having medium level of social participation. 70.00 per cent were having medium level of communication with impersonal cosmopolite, 62.50 per cent were having medium level of communication with personal cosmopolite, 66.25 per cent were having medium level of communication with personal localite. 58.75 per cent of respondents received medium level of benefits through B3P scheme, with 68.75 per cent were having medium level of psychological impact, 53.75 per cent were having medium level of socio-cultural impact, 57.50 per cent were having medium level of economic impact. 62.50 per cent of respondents were having medium level of awareness towards B3P scheme. And 67.50 per cent of the respondents were having positive attitude towards B3P scheme. The study revealed that 76.25 per cent of respondents were complaining about lack of seriousness among the policy as well as machinery workforces when it comes to socio-cultural constraints, where as 66.25 per cent claimed about no proper registration of births as most occurring technical constraint. And 72.50 per cent of them declared that lack of fund rotation as the major economic constraints under B3P scheme, 67.5% claimed about the denial of girls’ right to inherit property in their area as one of the important concern.
