A field elCperiment was conducted in wheat during Rabt season 2006-07 on sandy loamy soi at Crop Research Center of Sardar Vallabh Bhai Patel Unrvers1ty of Agriculb.Jre and Technology Meerut The elCperiment aimed to evaluating the effect of weed and nutrient managemenl practices on weed and crop. In this investigation to factor sb.Jdies were planned Control (No). N (N1), NP (N2), NK (N,). NPK (N,), NPK+FYM(St) (N,) and the second factor having, Four methods of weed management practices weedy check (W,), weed free (W>). lsoprob.Jron@ 1.0 kg a1 + 2, 4-0 Na Salt @ 0.5 Kg &.I. lha rt'/3}, Sullosulfuron@ 25 g ai.lha rt'/.) wene tested"' Factorial RandomiZe Block design with three repr~eabons Study revealed that NPK + FYM (51} provided maximum gra1n yield, straw y~eld, and biological Yields as compare to other treatment The maximum grain (50.58qlha) and straw (58.80q/ha) were recorded in NPK+FYM (St) followed by NPK, which was 11.97(%). 22 55(%), 19.65 (%) and 36 80(%} higher than NPK, NK, NP, N, respectively In respect to nitrogen, phosphorus and potassum content and uptake NPK+ FYM (51} provided its super10rily over all of the treatments. The h1ghest gross return (Rs.lha), net return (Rs.lha) and B·C ratio was recorded in NPK+FYM (51) as compared to other treatments. The lowest B:C ratio was recorded 111 control plots. The result indicated !hat chemiCal methods of weed control wene round superior over weedy check The lowest weed populallon, lowest dry matter highest weed control efficiency with highest grain yield of (44.38 q/ha) were recorded in treated plot with application of lsoproturon @ 1.0 kg a.i + 2,4-0 Na Salt @ 0.5 g a.ihla and established its superiority over au the rest treatments. S1milarty appllcabon of lsoproturon@ 1.0 kg a.i + 2. 4-0 Na Salt@ 0.5 Kg a 1 lha has higher net return and e·c ratio Thus NPK + FYM (51) with lsoproturon @ 1.0 kg aJ.Iha + 2, 4-D Na salt@ 0 5 kg a l.lha may be suggested for good performance of wheat crop and also for obta111ing maximum economiCal gra1n y~eld of wheat
