The objective of this study was to determine the nutritional status of organized farms through BUN and micro mineral concentration of blood plasma. The farms selected were MF Meerut, BRU Meerut Cantt and LRC S.V.P.U.A. & T. Meerut. The average daily quantity of DMI and CP intake varied from 11.9'6 to 13.45 kg and 1415.58 to 1508.88 g respectively at MF Meerut. The average quantity of DMI and CP intake varied from 11.39 to 13.19 kg and 1288.72 to 1471.83 g respectively at BRU, PDC Meerut and similarly intake of OM and CP was 10.30 kg and 910.43 gat LRC, S.V.P.U.A. & T. Meerut. The blood plasma concentration of Mn varied from 3.24 ± 0.060 to 2.35 ± 0.059·, Co 2.06 ± 0.198 to 2.19 ± 0.154, Zn 1.89 ± 0.099 to 2.09 ± 0.347 at three farms and was in normal range of variation. Cu contents of blood plasma varied from 0.71 ± 0.070 to 1.12 ± 0.092 IJg/ml. Cu was lower than the normal range. A Fe content of blood plasma varied from 25.53 ± 3.898 to 28.99 ± 1.438.1Jg/ml and was much higher than the normal range at all three farms. The BUN concentration varied from 14.70 to 22.98 mg/dl in different farm. The significantly (P<0.05) higher (22.98 mg/dl) value was observed for LRC compared to MF and BRU. The results of this study indicated that the micro minerals such as Mn, Co, Zn were in the normal range where as Fe contents of blood plasma was higher in all three farms and Cu contents was lower at LRC. The BUN concentration was in the normal range at MF and BRU, PDC Meerut but on the higher side at LRC, S.V.B.P.U.A. & T. Meerut suggesting the imbalance in energy: protein ratio of the diet being fed at LRC farm.
