Abstract
An experiment was conducted at the Horticulture Research Centre (HRC) of Sardar Vallabhbhai Patel University of Agriculture and Technology, Modipuram, Meerut (India), during 2021–22 in a randomised block design (RBD) with three replications to “Study on Integrated Sources of Nutrients in Soil and Foliar Spray of Micronutrients on Growth, Flowering and Bulb Yield on Tuberose (Polianthes tuberosa L.) cv. Prajwal.” In the study, a total of 10 different treatment combinations were used. Among the treatments, maximum plant height, leaf length (cm) were recorded under the treatment T5 (75% RDF + 25% VC + 0.7% FeSO4 + 0.7% ZnSO4 while, maximum number of leaves per plant were recorded on plants treated with T4 (75% RDF + 25%VC + 0.7% FeSO4). In flowering parameters, minimum days to first spike emergence (DAP) and opening of the first flower on the spike (DAP) noted in treatment T5. Similarly and maximum diameter of the spike, flower weight spikes-1, and flower yield (tonne ha-1) were recorded with T5 (75% RDF + 25% VC + 0.7% FeSO4 + 0.7% ZnSO4) while maximum rachis length (cm) was recorded with T7 (50%RDF + 50%VC + 0.7% FeSO4 + 0.7% ZnSO4). The maximum number of floret spikes-1 recorded in T8 (25%RDF + 75%VC + 0.7% FeSO4) however, maximum spike length (cm) observed in T9 (25%RDF + 75%VC + 0.7% FeSO4 + 0.7% ZnSO4), The maximum number of spikes clumps-1 recorded in T4 (75% RDF + 25%VC + 0.7% FeSO4). In terms of bulb yield parameters Maximum bulb diameter (cm), bulb length (cm), and bulb yield (t ha-1) were recorded with T9 (25% RDF + 75% VC + 0.7% FeSO4 + 0.7% ZnSO4) while maximum number of bulb plants-1 observed in T5 (75% RDF + 25%VC + 0.7% FeSO4 + 0.7% ZnSO4.
